Kale Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale, washed and thoroughly dried
  • 1-2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder (for extra sulforaphane content)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 150°C (non-fan setting)
  • Remove kale leaves from stems and tear into bite-sized pieces
  • In a large bowl, massage kale with olive oil until evenly coated (use minimal oil)
  • Sprinkle with salt and mustard powder
  • Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet
  • Bake for 17.5 minutes or until crispy but not brown
  • Let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving
