Chilli Con Carne
Ingredients
- 500g beef
- Can of tomatoes
- Can of cannelini beans
- 2 red onions
- 2 red peppers
- Stock cube
- Garlic
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- Smoked Paprika
- Cumin
- Salt & Pepper
- Oregano
Method
- Dice onions, peppers and garlic
- Brown beef in large pan
- Add onions, peppers and garlic, cook until softened
- Add spices (paprika, cumin, oregano)
- Add tomatoes, tomato paste and crumbled stock cube
- Simmer for 30 minutes
- Add beans and cook for further 10 minutes
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
Serving
Serve with rice, grated cheese, and sour cream
Can be frozen for up to 3 months
