Besan Chila (Indian chickpea flour pancakes)

Ingredients:

  • 120g besan (gram flour)
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 120ml water
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix besan, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water to form a smooth batter.
  3. Stir in onion, green chili, and cilantro.
  4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladle of batter, spreading it thin.
  5. Cook until golden on both sides. Serve with garlic butter shrimp.
